Edmodo and Symbaloo

The most difficult part about the lesson plan assignment was trying to find relevant information to put in my symbaloo.  Making a quiz for younger kids is harder than you think. You don't want the questions on the quiz to be hard or easy. One way I would use symbaloo in my future classroom would be making sure all the students could access the internet and had a computer. Next, I would post a video of myself teaching and if the students doesn't understand what I am trying to teach, I would provide resources on the symbaloo to make sure they understand. Some problems that arose while I was trying to make the quiz was that I couldn't figure out how to get the correct answer. I finally figured it out how to do it on my own. My overall impression on this assignment was I absolutely love to make quizzes and assignments. I like how you can go in there and make quizzes and assignments all on your own. This assignment taught me how I can use this in the near future.

Week 2 Podcasting

Mobile Learning is learning gone mobile. This type of learning can be used practically anywhere you have WIFI. Podcasting is an auto file that can be downloaded on any mobile device. The advantages of podcasting is that teachers can interact more with his or her classroom. Another advantage would be students do not have to buy a expensive tablet. Studies show that students are more likely to retain information they hear than information they read in a two week period. The disadvantage would be students that have a hearing disability would not be able to hear what the teacher is telling him or her to do. The current results that educators have used is a win, win. They say mobile learning will help reduce the screen time and brain dysfunction. I would begin to use a podcast by making sure I know how to use a podcast. Next, I would make sure what I wanted the lesson to be about. Last, I would make sure the students knew how to use the podcast.
